How Much Is a Dermal Piercing?
The price of a dermal piercing depends on the placement, the anchor, the decorative top, whether jewelry is included, and whether you will want different jewelry later. A low number on a general price list does not tell you all of that.
- Placement and how involved the procedure is.
- The type and quality of the anchor and the top.
- Whether jewelry is included in the quote.
- The studio's pricing rules.
- Any later top or follow-up that is not in the first price.
At Stickem Up Piercings, microdermals are $25 with implant-grade 316L surgical stainless steel and $50 in titanium. You must be 18. There are no exceptions. The studio describes a dermal as a minor surgery. The $10 basic price and the $15 oral price are not dermal prices.
Ask whether the quote includes the anchor, the decorative top, and aftercare guidance. Basic jewelry on the service menu is silver-colored surgical steel with no gemstones. Upgrades are available. Ask an employee what those cost. There are no refunds.
Do not move a dermal implant while it is healing. Keep the bandage on for 3 to 5 days so it has time to anchor. Cleaning otherwise follows the non-oral aftercare steps.
