## Age

## Aftercare, short

Do not use rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, bacitracin or other ointments, or soaps with triclosan. Wash hands first. Swelling in the first days is normal. Non-oral: warm water and Dr. Bronner's, or a mild antibacterial soap, rinse, clean the post and both sides, remove residue, pat dry or air dry, then saline or sea salt with distilled water. Dermals: do not move the implant, keep the bandage on 3 to 5 days. Oral: about 3 to 5 weeks, ice inside and an ice pack outside, rinse 4 to 6 times a day with antiseptic mouthwash (alcohol-free stings less but must be antiseptic) or coconut water, including after eating, drinking, or smoking, before bed, and in the morning, 30 to 60 seconds.
